Operatricks is a producer from Seattle who makes genre-bending electronic music using hardware synthesizers.

His most recent self-titled EP is a hazy journey through a musical landscape that inspires both dance and introspection, in equal measures. It's arc begins with "Soli", an introduction and an invitation. "Angelina" adds a surreal playfulness, painted in soft pastel tones. By the time we reach "Windham," we're invited to explore our harder edges, as the soundstage builds with thickness and distortion. "Blue Ghosts" is a return to nimbleness and to motion.

This continuous play EP was created live on a single analog synth, an Elektron Analog 4.
