Time- Is it a vehicle? A resource? A concept? We speak of having it to spend, but we do not, and we cannot.

While writing these instrumental tracks at the end of 2019, I was thinking a lot about the mutability of time-- how to us humans it feels both vast and fleeting; something we can control and something fully out of our hands. I began to feel that time is simply the vehicle for the one true constant in life: change.

This feeling only increased during the next 2 pandemic years, during which time I put these songs to rest while I worked on other projects. I ran across them again in late 2021 and decided that they long to be in the world, as do I : )
